Matthew began apprenticing under his father full time in 1998 after working in industry for two years and having already graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in another field. While working full time in accounting he attended college to receive his concentration in accounting and other prerequisites needed to sit for the uniform CPA exam. Matthew was able to excel in the course of study and pass the CPA exam as well as succeed in the firm. In 2004 John and Matthew formed FRANKLIN & FRANKLIN, PA.
