Mr. Franklin's practice focuses on Audits and Reviews of Churches and other nonprofit organizations, as well as income tax preparation for individuals and businesses.

He has an extensive background in nonprofit accounting, having served as a financial associate for Lilly Endowment Inc. in Indianapolis, IN and as Vice President of Finance for the PTL Television Network. His experience includes a full range of nonprofit accounting. John also established a working knowledge of tax practice by working at R.J. Whitinger & Co., Ernst & Ernst, Brinkerhoff, Franklin & Co., Inc., and then he began his own firm in 1986. From 1993 through 1998 his son Michael earned his CPA certificate and worked along his side until Michael felt God's calling to full time Christian Missionary work with Youth With A Mission (YWAM). In 1998 John's other son Matthew starting working at the firm. Matthew apprenticed with John while going back to University for his Accounting concentration, then sat for the CPA exam. In 2004 John and Matthew formed FRANKLIN & FRANKLIN, PA.
